Regular price $496.36
TerraCycle is proud to offer a 100% rust-resistant aluminum Cigarette Waste Receptacle that allows an easy and accessible solution for recycling cigarette butts. The TerraCycle Receptacles can be attached in community locations, outside of your business or workplace, or in designated smoking areas to reduce unsightly cigarette butts from littering your premise. All cigarette butts collected can be sent to TerraCycle to get recycled for free through TerraCycle’s Cigarette Waste Free Recycling Program.
Note: receptacles do not ship with the stickers applied, customer will need to apply stickers upon installation. Shipping and handling is included in price.
How it works:
- INSTALL | Install your cigarette receptacle in an easily accessible public location. Click here to view guidelines and installation instructions.
- COLLECT | As a safety precaution, do not fill your receptacle more than about 3/4 of its full capacity. When ready to empty, place a bag or bucket beneath the receptacle and unlock the receptacle door with the provided key.
- RECYCLE | Aggregate all collected cigarette waste and seal it in a trash liner or plastic bag. Then ship the waste back to TerraCycle in a sturdy cardboard box using the free shipping label from your TerraCycle account. Important Shipping Restrictions
For the Zero Waste Box system to work effectively and safely, please follow these simple shipping guidelines on how and what you can ship back to TerraCycle:
- When will my order arrive? Orders are typically shipped out 2-3 business days after the order is placed. All orders ship via UPS and can take 1-6 business days to arrive. Please note: during a sale period, these times may vary; expect possible delays with your order being fulfilled.
- Only send in items this system accepts. Sending in items that fall outside the selected category causes contamination and the need for added separation, which increases costs. For a more technical description of what is accepted, please click here.
- Do not send in household items that may be considered hazardous waste. These include items such as lithium-ion batteries, pressurized canisters, pesticides, oil-based paint or medical sharps, organics, broken glass, biomedical waste, soiled diapers, or expired medication. Do not send in anything sharp, flammable, reactive, corrosive, ignitable, radioactive, toxic, infectious, or pathogenic. For a more technical description of what is accepted and not accepted, please click here.
- Do not ship dripping packages. Please make sure all excess product has been removed before putting it in your Zero Waste Box, Pouch, or Pallet. If you choose to rinse your items, please note that the system must be completely dry prior to shipping.
